Yesterday after church Theresa and I went to help out Amaze at *scape!
FYI, its an outdoor art installation initiative by scape and High 5 in collaboration with YOG =). The installation allows people to paint on both sides of large acrylic panels and in the end the panels will morph into a constantly shifting maze. Instead of supervising the installation and watching people paint at the installation, we had to go to Orchard Rd to get passerbys to paint on panels. So we stood outside Mandarin gallery and started painting by ourselves to attract the crowd. Lots of curious audience who stared at us. But very few who actually painted. The whole idea of community art.
Even though there were few people who helped us in painting the white panels, we ended up painting 2 panels in only red, blue and yellow acrylic paint. It was a cool experience since it was the first time I painted with acrylic paint (after coursework last year) with really limited colours... and the only time i get to paint on the streets of orchard in front of everybody. It was fun =D.
Go visit Amaze at *scape if you're near cineleisure. =)
