It has almost been a month since i updated...church camp really rawked! 18-22 June 18 June We had a barbecue with the China Fellowship, only Wenling, Xiaohui Xiaohong me trix jiajun and jiaming from ypf joined them, there were so many chicken wings we cooked them for lunch the next date. it was really fun :D i had a little sore throat but it recovered thank god :D 19 June The YPFers joined us at 10 :D we played ice-breakers...as usual double whacko and the jumping square game :D haha. then we had folk dance after lunch and trix and i demonstrated while biqing ahyi taught...it was such a funny thing to see everyone dance..so joyful though totally uncoordinated. quite hard to coordinate, but we all had fun :D it's this israeli folk dance, very simple and cute! Then we learnt to guo zhongzi from lanying ahyi, mine came loose but they tasted really good though i thought the rice was too sticky, and it was stuck too my braces... if im right, qixin and qiyuan came! these two lil darling babies, qiyuen is really so intelligent for his age. he told me the story of titanic! in chinese :D then we all had fun carrying qixin and playing with her! meals were all fabulous cos the china pple wer really great cooks! great great food they cooked, very jia xiang. though most wer veggies but they still tasted good. ha what limited vocab. then we discussed our drama upstairs in the chalet. our group's drama was the story of Job...Job was a man of faith in God, so satan came to "test" him and inflicted him with loads of suffering. However, his faith never wavered and he continued to trust in God though he lost all that he had and suffered from broils and everything. In the end, God blessed him with double of what he had from before...guangjun was job, and we all played different roles...xubo shushu came up with a really good idea of making the story modern-oriented or whatever you call it :D We slept on the floor cos the beds wer for the elderly like my mum...haha. and i huddled in my sleeping bag, with trix beside me and little vicki and wenling and xiaohong xiaohui. btw the room was real big but only two single beds, what a pity. 20 June It was supposed to be biking at Pulau Ubin, but i decided not to go. stayed with xiaohong xiaohui and we talked quite a bit with jerry and darius...prepared lunch and cut vegetables...i still duno what the veggies' called but it's really yummy. why didn't i go to ubin? cos i haven't cycled for a year and now it's in ubin im going to lag behind and suffer...staying in the chalet wasn't that bad...we saw jingjing (not the one from school :D) jian dan...haha, so pro! Then they all came back sweaty and tired, lan ying ahyi brewed earl's grey for them. heard it was fun, even jasmin who hasn't cycled before made it back, it must have been quite fun really...:D then after lunch we continued to prepare for the drama, xubo went into many details. i kept nodding to sleep and jasmin xiaohong and me all snoozed off halfway. we washed dishes after diner cos it was grp B's turn, then we had the drama show at the guy's chalet 1. so many mosquitoes at night i got a few small bites, not very serious...and can't believe we got first :D our group got fruit de mer chocolates from the Cocoa trees. then all groups had kinder bueno. we all shared :D then we had sharing, forgot where we had it... 21 June It's the Bible Lands Virtual Tour! Went to Jerusalem haha. it was a really good "tour" by mushi :D learnt lots of stuff i've never learnt before, clarified loads of questions in my head cos im not very gd at places especially those of the bible, rather confusing... After nasi lemak lunch i was like totally nodding off, not only I but everyone. someone said it was the body's normal reaction but i peeled my eyelids awake. tried really hard...managed to get in info :D qixin and qiyuen came again!! played this choochoo train thingy with qiyuen and i couldn't get out of it...so i carried qixin in one hand and we pretended to go onto qiyuen's train, then we were supposed to go over to chalet 1, qixin looked like she wanted me to carry her there, so lihuan ahyi told me and jiaming to get the two kids to chalet 1. then when qixin saw her car drive off, she looked like she wanted to cry and she was carried into the car, then i walked there with tingting and others :D we watched the cross in china, a really touching short film of how chinese in mainland china have accepted christ. quite an eye-opener. We had a short prayer for those who have not accepted christ in our group. they talked to us about their problems. of course i was quiet, listened to lihuan ahyi answer their questions and guangjun and yaoqi too. potential chuandao people :D We had thanksgiving and then many of us stayed up. we danced the israeli folk dance again, then dunno who came up with the crazy idea of the guys switching place with the girls and then i become guy then one minute becoming the girl part...wa, i da tuan luan, but fun :D we all were so happy. then eleen taught everyone the matong game, we played for a short while then...what did we do? oops, i 4got. trix is sleeping. anyway jerry and robert escorted the girls back to chalet 2 at around 1plus pm...then i slept. others stayed up to chat and pray, but my room was like totally asleep :D oh yarh and before the short film we had a sumptuous buffet, i love the burburchacha and then i fed qixin :D so kewtt. she ate the chicken. haha. 22 June I didn't know yesterday was the last worship in the chalet cos this morning we left with mushi before worship so it was quite an abrupt break camp cos i ate breakfast hurriedly then left, but i realy love the camp! And thank God that Terry got such great achievements in Thailand. I'm proud of you brother :D God bless you.
