The only lessons we had today were half of chem lecture and half of bio lab due to the LES interview. It is actually my first interview since the one for sec 3 french immersion.
This time, it is much longer and scarier. The questions in french were basic yet I had difficulty expressing myself clearly...since I didn't have much time to think. Some of the tougher questions were in English, and it was clear that they attacked what I wrote in my personal statement:
What do you appreciate about France's open society?
So what are some major French companies in Singapore? (i stoned at this one)
I already know that France is technologically advanced. In what way is Singapore equally good?
What do you know about Singapore's politics? The reshuffling of the cabinet? (phew. I heard it on radio)
In what way can you contribute to Singapore and set her future direction after your studies in France? (oh my. this was in french. forgot how i answered it)
Yup. so it went on and on and I took nearly 20 minutes. It was scary at first during the French part of the interview...but I felt more relaxed after a while....
    Anyway, todays 401's bday!
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY 401!!!!!<3

Theresa's having a fever now. She blames her splitting headache on the microscope. Yeah I understand. After starring into the microscope for so long everything else looks so BIG. But thank God she started feeling unwell only after the interview. Get well soon.
