    Minstrels
Piano concert is over finally. Phews. Thank God there weren't many major boo-boos in our pieces...except that there were actually quite a few minor errors in my second piece. But since "Prelude - Minstrels" itself is a contemporary piece with tonnes of dissonances, I guess the audience could not really sense many flaws hehes. Duet was awesome, though there were abt 2 hiccups but I thought we did great, yay Shihui! :D My first ever duet partner other than trixie ahaha :D

As usual, the finale was by Matthew Ge. He played a really lovely impressionistic piece entitled 'Jeux D'eau' by Ravel =] It was highly amusing when some guy went on stage to give him a pineapple and 2 little girls presented him with bouquets. In addition, he was asked to encore and he really did!

My fave piece was Tchaikovsky's 'Season in June', I'm so going to learn it! Now that the concert is over, I guess I'll never touch my 2 concert pieces in time to come, cos I've been playing it for like nearly a year....since it was my diploma piece and it brings back bad memories :(
But I would really still like to practise some of my old pieces that I actually have not played for a long long while:
    - Arabesque by Debussy
    - Intermezzo in B by Brahms
    - Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin
    - Song without words by Mendelssohn

Thank God Trix and I are feeling much better now =] 2 days in sch w/o Trixie was ok afterall ahaha, since i got a new twin MelWee aka. Pixie ahahaha. Thanks to Ms Kim who failed to realize Trixie's absence and assigned me a new twin unknowingly. Hung out most of the time with CTG and the rest outside fishtank during our 3-hour break after council campaigning. It turned out super sian. MelWee and Michelle started singing fish leong songs. And many pple came around distributing gimmicks. Red Noses, I love Ares badges, not forgetting tonnes of food at the class bench and those memorable yellow balloons bobbing up and down during bio lecture.

Council campaigning was quite a bore. sitting in the hall was not fun at all. I liked TOOT's and TEH's video =] plus it was really amusing to see e fac heads dance mass dance tgt :D Guess they stole the limelight!! We've been spoilt with free food and free packet drinks (thanks Apollo) for the past few days. Looking forward to what's in store for the next few days ahaha :D

Not forgetting happy burfdae Cheryl Seah fellow frenchie! May the year ahead be wonderful and stay blur =D
