I thank God for the Good Friday service yesterday and for bringing Rachel for the service :) Although it was the second time listening to the recital, I still learnt a lot from it. And pondering on the words of the hymns we sang, When I survey the wondrous cross and Beneath the cross of Jesus, really reminded me of the suffering of Christ and God's love for us.
Despite it being a public holiday, we still had dance on friday. Thank God the timing was changed to the morning =] We learnt the seniors' self-choreo and it was awesome!! I love the dance and goodness it's time to practise real hard....
This morning's dance was half and hour of warm ups at SALT's foyer and lecture in a small room with NJ. We couldnt use the dance studio due to some communication error, it was claimed. Apparently Chinese Dance is supposed to have the studio for the whole month. And the worst was that it was supposed to be a combined prac with NJ! So we ended up not dancing cos the floor was too hard and rough :( Mr. Dan's lecture was, well, like any other lecture ahahaha. The stick figures of positions were really amusing. those feet positions especially, they're really memorable =] We saw Chinese Dance's SYF too! Their flexibility is stunning!! And I think the concept and formations and props are really creative =] Havent seen Yi Yi dance in a long time and oh my, the inspiration is there again.
I dunno why but I was looking forward to piano lesson so much, prob. needed a break from terrible enzyme tutorial. And I'm learning Polonaise in B-flat minor =] swoons, it's such a fantastic piece. Mrs Lin is sick >< after the concert. but she sounded quite satisfied at our playing =] and even rewarded us with an eraser haha =] how sweet! Then the usual craving for food overwhelmed me when I reached home. choc chip cookies then dinner then Ben n Jerry's Cake Batter ice-cream and now more cookies and pringles. oh goodness.
And I'm in total denial of 2.4 on monday. No it'll never come.
