sigh*..so tired after my church camp...yay...I woke up rather late today (9am) the camp was frm 13th to the 16th @Hope Center...it was great fun and u noe everyone learned a lot 'bout suffering. [1st day] met @ TSBChurch at 9am. then, we played some v.cute icebreakers and then painted our grp flag or banner (wadeva...) my grp's CORNY and theresa's is BATMAN. i believe our flag's the best =) beams]]. then we took a bus to Hope Center which is near Outram park. it was a v.clean place with dorms and a pantry and a small hall...v.cosy too! we had actually 6 worships in 4 days which were nice but at the last 2 days...we've got a little bit of sore throat so my voice was v.horrid thingy yah...oh yeah the main activity was "Rhythm & Beat" which was to use a song and change the lyrics into one that can comfort villagers who are about to experience a tsunami...and tell them about God's grace...q.fun but brain rackin' and our team turned out..i believe lousy...there was a night walk at night...from Hope Center...past Chinatown to Liang Court..that's where Tricia actually lost her wallet...& don't blame me! at home...I REALISED I BROUGH IT HOME!!! it's been found in 1 of my dirty clothes pile[oops..sorry].[tues14th]we had boot camp in the late sunny morning in the oop. field. it was terrible but both of us didn't give up!!!yaY! we succeeded in completing 2 sets of 6 rounds of running, 25+15 push ups, squats and launches(i don noe the spellin').terrible...then we learnt about 1st aid and CORNY won! the boot camp + first aid lesson was to prepare ourselves to resuc the victims. then there was another outdoor actvity..the great escape. it was cute coz we pretended the plane had crashed and we evacauted. we were supposed to continue the great escape for reaching the island (Suku Island). haha...funny name! OUR TEAM WON TOO!...then we had free time to relax and there was a testimony sharing. 2 sisters of christ came and gave testimony about their times of suffering. it was v.touching and we had reflection...followed by movie night! "House of Fury" was nice ad exciting...but however i felt it's rather shallow...but it's okay...with our snacks..yum...=D. i'll continue in the next post..bye!
