well...3rd day of ENPEC. Busy one. Went to F.R.I.M. a forest reserve...1/2 an hr walk. We saw many different kind of trees including a ghost tree...it was really humid... we emerged all sweaty. There was a pond near the forest reserve. There were four giant fishes inside the water. We managed to catch a glimpse of one. It's length was about the height of me! Wow! Quite fun. Trees...tall. Then we left 4 lunch at a kopitiam... best yong tau foo in malaysia. On the bus to the coffeehouse, we found out that Aunty Anne was bitten by a leech...her leg was swollen. Guess it must really hurt. The pewter factory was nice...the gallery was really amazing one of my fav.places! Products were real expensive, there were also sorts of pewter products--necklace pendants, photo frames, mugs and many more. We had this workshop... we used a steel hammer to carve our name into the pewter. Than we knocked the flat pewter disc into a bowl with a wooden mallot...cool! BUT TIRING... enjoyed it very much. It was some sort of anger management therapy. I had a hard time knocking and so Jay came by and help. I asked him how he hammered so hard then he answered saying," Think of my face." Ha! That was a nice joke. Next we went to the KL Menara tower. We took the lift up to the observatry deck. VERY HIGH UP. Ears got blocked as we went higher in the lift. The view was great, though it was quite misty. There were many caucasians. And there were a few with a laptop. They were playing the song 'Breakaway' and 'Fly'. My favourite. Ting Yi was totally exhausted and she juz fell asleep, leaning her shoulder on our coach, EZ. Went to a chinese restaurant for dinner...played bomb...this was when i lost my voice. So Sad! Boo Hoo Hoo! Waited for results of Singapore Idol... Brennan and Diane had their handphones ready to receive the results. We could here "Taufik go!" and "Sylvester must win!". It was really exciting. Diane's phone rang but it turned out to be another person who called her. Then it was brennan's. He put down the phone and said Two more minutes! We sighed. Then Brennan's phone rang. This time, he said "SHIT!" then we found out that there was no reception. Sigh again. But alas, Diane received an SMS saying that Taufik won....Yippee! He rox...though Oli rox more...but at least Sly didn't win! He still came in second. Quite a long journey back to hotel...but enjoyable day!
